Cloud Computing holds the potential to eliminate the requirements for setting up of high-cost computing infrastructure for the IT-based solutions and services that the industry uses.It promises to provide a flexible IT architecture,accessible through internet for lightweight portable devices.This kind of operation makes it highly scalable,ultra-large-scale and inexpensive,so there are more and more Cloud Computing services emerging.These are also main reasons why more and more enterprises gradually storing their Trade Secrets in Cloud Computing,which also help them to reduce the operating costs.However,Cloud Computing has disadvantages to some degree – the complexity of the network and the development of technology threatens its secrecy,which also threatens the security of Trade Secrets.In addition,there is no specific Trade Secret law in our country.Therefore,it is necessary to establish the relevant legislations and regulations as well as the related systems to protect the expanded Trade Secrets and the core value of companies under the Cloud Computing environment,which is also the main focus in academia.This essay explores the relationship and the new issues arising from the combination of Cloud Computing and Trade Secrets in detail by introducing the concepts of these two.By learning relevant experience in protecting foreign Trade Secrets under Cloud Computing environment from the perspectives of enterprise users,cloud service providers,third-party supervision and judicial procedures,etc.,and by considering the current status of Trade Secret protection in China to build an adaptable protection mechanism of Trade Secret under Cloud Computing environment in our country.
