The birth of social media is a revolution in the field of news media in the Internet era,which means that traditional media are transforming to new media.With its unique convenience,low threshold,low cost and multi-terminal advantages,it makes the traditional media's linear transmission mode innovation become the explosive growth star mode of transmission,as an important carrier of information dissemination,but also reflects the community conditions Important platform.As the number of Internet users continues to grow,social media has gradually become a hub of thought and culture and an amplifier of public opinion.772 million netizens gathered to discuss public affairs on forums such as forums,Weibo and We Chat,and paid close attention to the current hot spots to express their interest demands,thus forming a public opinion field that is different from the traditional official media field.Party and government agencies have actively used social media to respond to the concerns of Internet users and set up a bridge between the government and the public.Social media has become an important public platform for the Chinese public to express their opinions,discuss public affairs,participate in social and political life,promote economic construction,and supervise public opinion.In particular,the numerous incidents related to the public opinion dissemination of social media in recent years show that the social media public opinion dissemination has had a tremendous impact on the administrative mode of government,which is also directly reflected in the decision-making process of government agencies at all levels.The spread of public opinion in social media is a double-edged sword,which has brought some negative effects while promoting the democratization,scientification and efficiency of government decision-making process.This article is divided into four parts:The first part: an overview of the concept of social media,its development process and its influence.Describe the mechanism and characteristics of social media public opinion transmission.The second part: Outline the concept,characteristics and process of government decision-making.Analyze the requirements of government decision-making,and further analyze the inevitable connection between the socialmedia public opinion transmission and government decision-making.The third part: the positive and negative influence of the social media public opinion transmission on the government decision-making.The fourth part: To put forward reasonable suggestions on how to strengthen the positive influence of social media public opinion on government decision-making and how to eliminate the negative influence of social media public opinion on government decision-making.
