In a country, making foreign policy is subjected by many factors. such as Americanwhich is a democracy, legislation, administrative, judicial separation of the three powersmake public take part in decision-making possiblly. In foreign policy-making process, Itrequires USA decision makers consider the public mood and attitude necessarily. Withthe passage of time, American election political system is becoming more and moremature. Meanwhile, the development of the modern information technology hasincreased American public interest and attention for foreign affairs, diplomaticdecision-making influence is also growing. Therefore, for foreign policymaking,Acomprehensive evaluation of the role of American public opinion is a key factor inworthy.After the second world war. In the three wars with great significant that UnitedStates participated, public opinion has played an important role in limitation andrestriction on foreign decisions.In the Korean war, the change of American public’sattitude to the war has serious impact on the United States is the United States presidentelection;In the Vietnam war,the change of public opinion has a certain influence on theprogress of the war; And in the Iraq war the "intelligence door" event, public opinionfinally forced the Bush administration make out policy adjustment.Comprehensive three wars in the third section,we can sum up that the role ofpublic opinion in the United States,that is an important force limited on diplomaticdecision-making,is an important force that is reckoned with in the process ofdiplomatic decision-making.
