Research On Statutory Standards For Gun Identification

As the incidence of gun-related crimes has continued to rise in recent years,new forms of this kind of crimes have emerged in an endless stream,bringing great threats to the safety of citizens and property.Therefore,the Ministry of Public Security has reduced the identification criteria for complete sets of firearms and has greatly broadened the scope for gun crimes by setting lower muzzle kinetic energy.In this way,many of the actions of holding guns and air guns have been subject to criminal regulations,and the judgment has been difficult to obtain public recognition.Through the interpretation of Zhao Chunhua,the most typical and most influential case of this type of case,the criteria for complete sets of firearms were analyzed.At the same time,based on the case of Gongming,analyzing the current Chinese standards for the gun parts,to find the shortcomings of the criteria for complete sets and the spare parts for firearms.Through the use of lessons learned from outside the domain to find a reasonable solution,hoping to improve the current standards,while establishing a reasonable set of gun identification standards,while establishing a clear,uniform criterion for the identification of guns parts,in order to realize the balance between striking gun crimes and protecting freedom of citizens.
