In the information society, Information Technology has influenced people’s life style and study way. We unconsciously influenced by the impact of television, computers and a lot of information all the time, the same to the pre-primary children. These information will influence their behavior in a great extent, while bringing them feeling of freshness. So the education and develop of the pre-primary children are facing with the challenge which had never happened in the past.However, there is still no perfect equipment of information education in the majority of kindergarten, and significant differences exist among different regions of the kindergartens:there is significant gap between urban kindergartens and rural kindergarten, while great differences exist in the types and quantities of the hardware in different types of kindergartens. Information Technology and kindergarten curriculum has not been effective integration, and specialized management software and educational the software of the kindergarten are not very satisfactory. Education experts and the community called for the country should continue to strengthen the information technology education of the pre-primary children, effective use of advanced technology to help children lay a solid foundation to meet future high-level education.For the application of IT in kindergarten, this study in accordance with the nature and quality grade of kindergarten (demonstration kindergarten, one-level kindergarten, two-level kindergarten, private garden), preschool teachers and business principals from14kindergartens in Beijing participated in this investigation. Investigation the following four areas:kindergarten hardware facilities and maintenance; IT application in early childhood education; IT application in the management of the kindergarten and IT literacy of the preschool teachers. Summed up by investigating the current situation of IT application in the current early childhood education, and analysis the problems and errors, finally put forward the proposal suggestions to promote the IT integration into the early childhood science.These paper ends with both theoretical and practical implications of the investigation results. Since there is not much systematic study of the application of Information Technology in the kindergarten, perhaps this paper can contribute some ideas and new insights into the field.
