Animation is Children's favorite that as an intimate partners unaccompanied children grow up. Animation meets the children's entertainment needs, cognitive needs, emotional needs, etc. Our early animation artists drawn from the splendid national culture for inspiration, to create a large number of animation which has strong ethnic characteristics, and loved by children. The national animation of children as a film from the outset to be used as a tool of social education to educate children, then gradually by family and school education use. The national culture of children's national animation influences children imperceptibly. They cultivate children's national consciousness, national sentiment and national pride. Chinese traditional culture also aid children loved the way, creating a new national cultural enlightenment education's pathways. However, the most attracting children's interest in the children's animation mostly ethnic cartoon classics decades ago. Now, these cartoons because of the times, could not be fully excavated and utilized. The new national animation was due to various problems, but not as good as the previous animation ethnic children can not achieve the desired goal of a good all-round development of children and national culture.The national animation of children is an important, but of educational resources yet to be excavated. By combing our national children animation, so the classic animated children's nationality can be more systematic, structured, better understanding of children's national animation. The paper on the theory of child education, child psychology, philosophy on child, on reflection animation for children from ethnic educational value and historical value of the angle, make the classic children's national animation return the children's view, promoting physical and mental development of children. Also analyzing the problems in children's national animation, making recommendations for educators and creators, respectively. When using children's national animation, we should make full use of its essence. And I hope the animation creators can learn the advantages of it and avoid problems. To create more excellent, child-friendly, conducive children's national animation to promote children's development.This paper is divided into five parts. The main topics discussed in the introductory part is the reason, significance, methods of the paper. The first chapter discusses the concept definition of children on national animation, character, and type. The second chapter mainly recalling 70 years of the children's national animation's development process and the development of children's national animation in education application. The third chapter mines educational value and historical value of children's national animation. The last chapter is by reflecting the problems in the children's national animation which is not good for education, and making recommendations on how to guide children to use it, and how to create more and good children's national animation.
