In 1980s,more and more researchers of Mathematical education contact "mathematics" and "nation" and "culture" together,to make a new research field, known as the "national mathematics", "cross-cultural mathematics". At the International mathematics education conference in 2008, the professor of southwest university named nai-qing song has had a summary report to the development and research mathematics education of China’s ethnic minorities. The report fully reviews the mathematics education development of China’s ethnic minorities, and also makes Chinese scholars found a lot of problems, so has formed a mathematics education research topic of ethnic minorities, with Chinese characteristics.China is a multi-ethnic country with a long history, the ethnic minority population accounts for 8.49% of the total population but area of minority region accounted for about 64% of the nation’s total, minority education is a very important part of the education enterprise in our country.Speed up the development of minority education is the premise of to develop our education enterprise regularly and integrally.the minority mathematics education is based on the national education and mathematics education in our country, integrate the national culture and mathematics, To research different ethnic minority areas in China under different cultural background, in the process of the ethnic minority students in mathematical education to study the phenomenon of education and education problems, reveal the ethnic characteristics and law of development of mathematics education, aims to explore the effective ways to improve the level of mathematics education of national minorities.The topic of the paper is minority mathematics education theory system construction", on the basis of analyzing the previous research results, to clearly defines the concepts related to ethnic minority mathematics education simple carding the development of minority education history, summarizes the main approaches to the research of the minority education of mathematics and its characteristic, and systematic arrange the main content of the research on minority mathematics education involved in the research significance, research status and existing problems, finally analysis overall present situation and tendency of the development of ethnic minority education of mathematics totally complete the independence system simplifies structure of ethnic minority education of mathematics. Will help other researchers to clearly grasp the minority development in mathematics education research, understand the contents of the minority mathematics branch and methods.
