Cognitive diagnostic test can make discrimination and diagnosis for the cognitive structure of subjects, not only on the ability of the participants at the macro level evaluation is given, and realize the screening and selection function, more information on the cognitive schemata can provided, It's easier that the participators be sinked in. The excellent measurement results were preferred by the scholars in cognitive psychology, psychology and education scholars in the field of surveying. Cognitive diagnosis model was applies on the secondary school physics knowledge test of electric field, magnetic field in this study, In order to explore the applicability of cognitive diagnosis in middle school physics course. This conducive to understand the reasons for student learning have difficulty in electric field, magnetic field, so as to help them overcome difficulties in learning.The theoretical basis and the rise of cognitive diagnosis was reviewed, the application of rule space model was introduced in detail in this research. Rules space model was apply to test the knowledge of electric field, magnetic field and the: base on the early stage of the test compilation and test preparation, we know that,there are seven cognitive properties and their hierarchy was made sure contains in the knowledge of the charged particle move in electromagnetic field in this study. We get 23 ideal master patterns what base on the Q matrix theory. We test 166 students who come from the affiliated high school of Guangzhou University. Basing on the results of IRT, we know that, the1 st, 2cd, 3rd, 4th and 5th item is fundamental, the reference value of the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th item is higher, with the higher degree of distinction. It is contrary to the 10 th and the 11 th item.According to the result of discriminant analysis, the 166 participators were sorted into 23 ideal master patterns that we coded in the early stage of the test compilation. Basing on the distance analysis between self-report and the result of diagnosis, makes the accuracy of diagnosis gained support. According to the result of discriminant analysis in the study of electric field, magnetic field, there are gender differences between boys and girls, the ability value significant difference: the boys are better than the girls in space imagination and mathematics. Also, the causes of the poor student of physics learning difficulties electromagnetic field knowledge be analyzed, and Suggestions for the education counseling were puts forward.In order to explore the effectiveness of the remedial teaching measures, we selected the homogeneous class 2 and class 3 as the subjects in this study, basing on the contrast experiment, we know that significant difference between experimental class and control class. In order to figure out relationship of remedial measures of teaching and students level, the class is divided into three layers to contrast the posttest score, and we only got significant differences in medium level. In other words, this teaching method is more suitable for the students who in medium level. For the relatively, the effect in the lower and the higher level is not obvious. It should be given by other more effective to make their learning was improved and consolidated.
