Waldorf Education which was established at the beginning of the 20 th century,has made a remarkable achievement in the world during the past hundred years.Waldorf preschool education opens a window for people to rediscover young children and their own development.In theory,this article sort the concepts of Waldorf preschool education.In practice,the author chooses a Waldorf kindergarten in Dalian as a case to investigate its the curricular setting and implementation so as to provide some references for current kindergarten curricular reform and development.This study starts from comparing the vigorous development of Waldorf education in the worldwide and present development of the domestic preschool education.Taking a Waldorf kindergarten in Dalian as case study,the author discusses the provision of Waldorf kindergarten curricular from four aspects: story-telling,singing,gaming activity,craft lesson and special curriculum.The author also uses the observation method and interview method combing the leader,teachers and parents as research objects,to investigate the Waldorf kindergarten's special curricular implementation which includes circle time,puppet show,watercolor painting,and bee-wax handwork.In the end,the paper analyzed characteristics of Waldorf kindergarten curricular provision and implementation,and provided references for traditional kindergarten curriculum development from three aspects: returning to nature,respecting the principal position of children and letting teachers playing positive roles.
