Research On The Reform Of Public Sports Basketball Course In Colleges And Universities In Chengdu

At the beginning of this century, the third National Education Conference of the State Council held in Beijing, and put forward to focus on the development of private education in China. With the rapid development of China's economy and culture, private colleges and universities in China have been developing rapidly, and has made important contributions to the national education in our country. It also provides a strong support for improving the comprehensive cultural quality of our country. Public physical education curriculum in private colleges and universities plays an important role in the education system, which includes the basketball course. The basketball movement was introduced into China from the end of nineteenth Century, it was widely welcomed, and in one hundred years has been considerable development, China's current basketball sports in the world in a leading level. Basketball in China has been rapid development, because of the strong promotion of college and students, at the same time, basketball sports for college students' comprehensive quality has a huge role in promoting, because through basketball, the majority of students can not only learn to enrich the knowledge, but also to understand and grasp the hard work, unity and cooperation and other traditional education less mention of noble qualities. Therefore, the public basketball course in private colleges and universities should have a pivotal role in the daily teaching. As a famous cultural city, Chengdu has the responsibility to shoulder the important task of inheriting the traditional culture, cultivating and bringing up the comprehensive talents. Therefore, it has important practical significance and academic value to study the reform of the public sports basketball course in Chengdu. In this paper, through literature, questionnaire survey, expert interviews, observation and mathematical statistics, and other research methods, analysis of teaching status, in-depth analysis of the existing problems, and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the reform of public sports basketball course in Chengdu private colleges and universities.
