The knowledge level of teachers is an important part of teachers' knowledge composition, directly affects the teaching quality of teachers. Only with the subject of a solid foundation of knowledge, the overall quality to the maximum possible to improve students.This paper has following goals: first, research of minority area high school mathematics teachers' knowledge to grasp the situation; second, study on minority area high school mathematics teachers should have knowledge of the subject accomplishment;third, analysis influence factors of minority area high school mathematics teachers' knowledge accomplishments.According to the research target, through the preparation of the questionnaire conducted a questionnaire survey of 169 Guyuan city high school mathematics teacher,questionnaire reliability and validity analysis is carried out using SPSS21.0. Finally, the effective recovery of 150 questionnaires. The research obtains the following conclusion:(1) the status quo of the senior high school mathematics teachers' subject knowledge level in minority areas. Teachers have a good grasp of the content of the required modules, elective master is poor, the new curriculum standards to join the content of the textbook is more poor. There are some problems in the analysis and application of knowledge.(2) there are many factors that affect the level of the subjects knowledge of high school mathematics teachers in minority areas. Specific performance in the teachers' sense of learning, social of the emphasis on teacher knowledge, teacher seniority,education and so on.(3) minority area high school mathematics teachers' knowledge level situation needs to be improved. From the pre and post two ways. The preform of normal education, post can participate in social training, improve the self-learning ability, adopt scientific knowledge evaluation method etc..This paper reflects the current situation of high school mathematics teachers' knowledge level of ethnic minority areas to a certain extent, to improve the westernregion high school mathematics teachers' knowledge level has certain practical significance.
