Research On Undergraduate Student Affairs Management Innovation In Public Universities In Yunnan Province

The 18 th CPC National Congress report proposed general requirements for more thorough and overall reforms in the field of education,which clarified the tackling direction and important measures of educational reform.The “Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Some Major Issues Concerning Comprehensively Deepening the Reform” was adopted at the Third Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC Central Committee,making major depoyment in important sectors and critical segments of the overall deepending reform.Yunnan is located on the southwest border,therefore is still backward in the application and innovation of theory and practice of educational resources,calling for urgent educational reform and creation.Student affairs administration is an integral part of higher education.Creation in administration shall provide theoretical and practical guarantee for educational reform.Student affairs administration appropriate to social development and college students’ growth will be constructed to promote higher education reform through innovation in administration concept,mechanism,and cultural aspects.This paper is made up of five parts.The first part is introduction,including research background,significance,methods,ideas,literature review,and related concepts.The second part generally talks about the administration of undergraduate students’ affairs in public universities,consisting of the theoretical basis of research and the history and status quo of college student affairs admnistration.The third part is about the practical difficulties of the administration of undergraduate students’ affairs in public universities.This part intends to generalize and conclude from theory,construction,culture,mechanism,and team profession based on the educational reality of Yunnan.The fourth part discusses the inspiration we get from overseas student affairs administration experience,which has enlightened us to make conclusion based on our country’s practice.The last part proposes strategies and innovation measures for Yunnan public universities’ stduent affairs administration combining with difficulties and experience discussed in the previous parts.The research aims to,through comprehensive study of Yunnan’s provincial condition and educational condition,careful analysis of the current dilemma,and experiece from advanced theory and practice,make scientific and effective suggestions for the innovation of Yunnan public universities’ student affairs administration.
