Adolescence is a special period that everyone will have in the process of growth and people’s physiology and psychology will be a dramatic change in this period. Adolescent sexual health education can help young people through this period better and begin forming healthy consciousness and behavior of life. Adolescent sex education in China started relatively late, due to the influence of feudal thought and the traditional concept, parents almost don’t discuss this topic with children. Coupled with the orientation of examination, sex education in schools is difficult to carry out because of fewer hours or shortage of teachers. With maturity of young people in physical and network information flooding, social problems caused by the lack of adolescent sexual health education are becoming more and more serious. Therefore, this study takes the junior middle school students’sexual health education as starting point, to explore how to carry out adolescent sexual health education in biology teaching, hoping that through this study the adolescent sexual health education can take into action.Using the opportunities of practice in the Zhangmutou middle school that in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, the author made researches of adolescent sexual health education in the biology teaching.Firstly, the author made interviews and questionnaire to 7 biology teachers and 246 students respectively, to know the current situation of adolescent sex education, the sexual health knowledge about students and their the attitude of carrying out adolescent sexual health education. Secondly, through the study of the junior high school biology textbooks and curriculum standards, the author find teaching content of adolescent sexual health knowledge. According to the results of the investigation about students’sexual health knowledge and combined with biology teaching and lectures, the author design teaching methods which in classroom learning and the theme of the teaching time, teachers can make adolescent sexual health education objectively. Finally, making post test for the adolescent health knowledge of students after the teaching practice and the author make conclusions by analyzing the formal test and the post test.The results showed that making health education in the development of adolescent can significantly improve the student’s adolescent health knowledge. Compared with before, students’knowledge, no matter the knowledge of sex physiology or sexual psychology and sexual concepts of knowledge, have improved significantly. The school biology teachers also made a high evaluation of the study. By comprehensive analysis, the conclusion can be draw that it is necessary to make sexual health education in junior high school, which can not only master the related knowledge but also enhance self-health consciousness. Furthermore, combined classroom teaching and lectures is one of the most important ways to make school adolescent sexual health education.This study is a practice of school adolescent sexual health education exploration. Because of time and resource constraints, this study has some shortcomings, but it can helped students to better know adolescent sexual health knowledge in a large extent. At the same time, the author expecting to provide a reference for biology teachers to carry out adolescent sexual health education in the classroom.
