With sexual liberation in society and the development of multi-media technology,there is an increasing conflict between the overflow of sexual information and the ignorance of sexuality owing to vacancy of puberty sexual health education.A growing number of adolescents have made sexual mistakes and adolescent sexual crime rate is going up.Therefore,it is imperative to perform scientific and effective puberty sexual health education according to the middle school students' physical and mental characteristics.Choosing junior biology lessons as an educational channel to give the students scientific and systematical sexual education is a must for us teachers.To help the students well-developed both in mind and body,an investigation was done before the research. The total 654 students who were investigated are from junior one,junior two to junior three of the attached middle school of NUDT.The total 72 teachers who were investigated are from the attached middle school of NUDT.The data obtained tells us that there is an urgent need of sexual health education.The result shows us the problems as follows:a relative lack of sexual education but sexual precocity;open-minded sexual viewpoints and coldness to sexual morality;many sided sexual information;differentiated sexual education levels and behaviors towards the sexual education.By exploring the biology textbook combined with the characteristics of adolescents' physiology and psychology,Sexual education to the students was conducted in the way of a list of sexual knowledge,guidance on the net,role imitating and group discussion for the purpose of giving the students what they need to learn about sexuality during their adolescence.The sexual education is divided into such four aspects as sexual physiology,psychology,morality and self-protection. The investigation after the activity convinces us that the above sexual educational methods have some obvious advantages over the traditional teaching methods.The sexual education breaks through the limits of textbooks enriching the contexts of teaching;What's more,the participation of the students in the activity gives them a chance to be their own masters;Additionally,the various teaching methods bring in high efficiency.Finally making good use of healthy websites breaks the limits of sexual education.This kind of instruction arouses the students' self-experience and self-dependent so that the students are made to be joint individuals of knowledge,emotion,will,and behavior,making the sensitive and complex puberty sexual health education rich and effective and it contributes to harmonious improvement of the students both physically and mentally.
