Research On The Folk Religious Beliefs Of The Yi People And Their Values

Our country is a united multi-ethnic country, only each ethnic group with full development that our country can be prosperous. Yunnan province is located in the frontier of the motherland with the largest ethnic minority regions, is one of the key provinces to the study of ethnic religions, and the Yi nationality which inYunnan province has the largest population than other ethnic minorities, analysis and study the folk religious belief, revealing the the Yi nationality folk religious status, function, exploring the folk religious belief in the new era under the socialist system under the influence of social development and the combination of yi folks religious belief and the realistic society, revealing the rationality of the existence of folk religious beliefs which has the vital significance to the development of yi nationality area.Yi folk religion based on the original religion with worshiping ancestors as the core, with a set of natural worship, totem worship, worship of the gods, bimo culture as a whole, combine with Confucianism,Buddhism,Taoism.Presenting a dynamic developing state in the developing of the history of Yi culture. Based on Nanhua in chuxiong with yi nationality autonomous prefecture habitat named "Luo Lu"inYuqime Village, using the method of field survey and literature analysis, with visiting survey, collecting first-hand information and the related documents, to analysis the Yi religion.This paper contains three parts:main introduction, text and epilogue. The first part is an introduction expounds the proposal of the question, the significance of the study, current state of the research, study methods and defining the related concept of the folk belief, religious beliefs, the yi nationality of "Luo Lu",and the religious beliefs of yi folk etc. The second chapter first introduces Chuxiongyi autonomous prefecture nanhuacounty,the current situation of the yuqime village and the general situation of folk beliefs of the "Luo Lu" and the characters and contents of the religious beliefs of yi folk.The third chapter is mainly about the custom of wedding and funeral, interpersonal communication, education, values, etc, to explore the influence of the religious beliefs of yi folk on"Luo Lu" lifestyle and analyzed it. The fourth chapter discusses the function and role of folk religion,theyi folk religion which started in primitive society and inherited up to now, affecting the yi people's life, have a great effect on the current Yi nationality society.It is able to enhance the sense of national identity and national cohesion, inherit the traditional culture of ethnic groups, promote the process of socialization of the Yi nationality at the same time, plays an important role in building a harmonious socialist society. The fifth chapter explores the developing trend of yi folk beliefs, analyse the plight of the yi folk beliefs, and based on the marxism, the socialism mainstream ideology, Core socialist values to make reflection and outlook on the developing of Yi folk religion. Developing yi nationality folk religion under the leading of the Core socialist values, to meet the demand of the social development, and further improve the situation of social economy and culture of the yi region which is comparatively lagged behind.
