Research On The Impact Of Engineering Risk Allocation On Social Justice

With the rapid development of modern engineering activity,it not only has created enormous wealth for society,but also has been convenient for human beings.However,at the same time,there are engineering risks caused by engineering activities in everywhere and at anytime,which bring us into a new Risk Society.When wealth accumulates at the top,the engineering risks gathers in the bottom.As the distribution of wealth,the distribution of engineering risks become a fundamental factor of affecting social justice.The paper tries to analyses how unequal distribution of engineering risks seriously impacts on social justice according to some cases about NIMBY facilities with high engineering risks.Firstly,the paper describes main ways of unequal distribution of engineering risks,then it try to discuss different kinds of crisis of social justice,such as intra-generational injustice,inter-generational injustice,regional injustice,international injustice and so on.And then it reveals the causes of unequal distribution of engineering risks.Eventually,the paper brings up some suggestions and measures for the distribution of engineering risks.The paper could be divided into six parts:The first chapter is the introduction including not only the reason why choose this title and the point of research,but also research methods and some creative ideas.Based on the transformation from the Industrial Society to the Risk Society,it is necessary to do this study.In the background of the Risk Society,the second chapter will explain the concept of engineering risk,and it also compare the distribution of wealth with risks.social justice;then it analyses the concept of justice and social justice,and summarizes main ideas of philosophers in various periods.The third part focuses on the meaning and status of engineering risks distribution.Beside this section will analysis main performance of engineering risks distribution with specific NIMBY cases,and finally it may cause a series of social crisis of justice.In the fourth chapter,unequal distribution of engineering risk caused by the problem of cognition,accumulated effects and mechanism.The next chapter aims at problem solving.For the construction of China Socialist core values and learning from experience of other countries,it attempts to summary the thought and practice methods how to promote social justice by properly distributing engineering risk.The last part is conclusion of the paper.
