The teaching of three dimensions of grammar knowledge is instructional design of grammar based on the three dimensional grammar theory.Three dimensions of grammar knowledge includes the content,form,and purport and application of the grammar knowledge.The teaching of three dimensions of grammar knowledge emphasizes that students should internalize grammar concepts,ideas,rules and so on.What’s more,teachers should let the students master the structure of syntactic of grammar knowledge and the way of formation by analyzing a classic case.At the same time,The teacher lets the student use grammar knowledge to help them express ideas in setted teaching situation,writing and class activities,which will improve the students’ self-confidence and feel the interest of grammar learning.Based on the three dimensional grammar theory,this study takes "attributive clause" in the first module of the Oxford English of high school as an example to carry on the teaching design research and explore the general methods and ideas of the design of grammar teaching of high school English based on the three dimensional grammar theory.First of all,the author analyzed and expounded three dimensional grammar theory,concluding that general process and framework of the teaching of three dimensions of grammar knowledge of high school.Then the author conducted preliminary analysis and froms the perspective of the three-dimensional grammar knowledge and teaching contents through questionnaires and interviews.On this basis,the contents of a module"attributive clause" were divided into three classes according to the unit.At the same time,based on the three dimensional grammar theory,the author studied the teaching of"attributive clause" and put forward specific instructional design from the teaching goal,teaching content,teaching process and teaching evaluation.By the implementation of classroom teaching and the analysis of the teaching activity and effect feedback,the author found that the teaching of three dimensional grammar knowledge will help students internalise the concept of design grammar knowledge and help students analyze the composition of sentence.What’s more,it could also help students understand the form of grammar knowledge,ascend the purport of grammar knowledge and apply the grammar to writing and speaking actively.After three dimensional grammar teaching design and classroom implementation,the defects of instructional design of three-dimensional grammar knowledge in senior English were found and improvement Suggestions were put forward.
