Today, examination is still the host spot that people pay close attention to.It needn't point out the importance of the Independent entrance examination, which have key effects upon student's growth and development.Against such a backdrop,it encourage many experts and scholars to pay much attention to the examination system and examination questions. This study is mainly concerned with the examination which based on the six elements of mathematics ability of students.According to the experimental subject system classification method in P.A.K pyteukhh's book Psychology of Primary and Middle School Students' Mathematical Ability,The mathematical ability is divided into six elements.Including the ability of mathematical memory, logical reasoning, abstract generalization, the ability to think, the concept of space and the reversibility of thinking.Determining the rating scale based on Wilson's cognitive goal classification framework. In this study,we choose a school with independent enrollment qualification in Shanghai,The leaders of the school, the students in charge of enrollment and the mathematics teachers are the objects of the questionnaire.Detailed analysis of today's independent enrollment examination can effectively identify gifted students, and the reason that can't be identified. On the other hand, this paper treat the Shanghai Municipality four school as the object of study. This paper analyzes the problems in mathematics test. And gives some suggestions. This paper analyzes the problems in mathematics test. And gives some suggestions. The main conclusions are as follows:1.About question types: Most of the school questions only fill in the blanks and answer questions,or just fill in the blanks.Distribution of questions is not scientific and reasonable.2.About knowledge: The study found that School enrollment questions almost no statistical and probability of the content of this course module.3.About Mathematical ability: The study found that the respondents were unable to conduct a comprehensive examination of the reasons for students, the examination questions are lack of the students' reversible thinking and space concept. Therefore,it is difficult to test students comprehensively. In light of these conclusions, this paper further puts forward relevant explanation and referenced suggestions:1.About question types: proposed the school to set up more types of questions.2.About knowledge: despite of “Statistics and probability” already occurred in Primary school and Junior middle school, this knowledge continue to pay a lesser role in the test paper. And the question type remains relatively fixed. So,I suggest that more “Statistics and probability” knowledge should be made on the paper.3.About Mathematical ability: Mathematical ability will be divided into six factor by Kruteskii. So,Students should be comprehensively examined.
