Since the twentieth century,on one hand,the improvement of social productivity and progress of science and technology have helped mankind create unprecedented material wealth;on the other hand,several environmental problems,such as population explosion,the excessive consumption of resource,environmental pollution,ecological destruction and so on are becoming increasingly acute.In recent years,the environmental problems in our country have become more and more serious.Water pollution and water shortages,the attack of sandstorms,the severe haze pollution are serious threats to the normal life of people.What’s more,the amount of PM2.5 is serious exceeding the allowed figure.Education is the basis of environmental protection.This paper aims to study the environmental education involved in moral courses in compulsory education.The significance of this paper is trying to find out the problems in the environmental education involved in moral courses by analyzing the curriculum standards,the textbooks and class teaching.On this basis,we want to give some practical advice to the editors and the teachers,so that the editors can compiling some textbooks with high quality and the teachers can make a better teaching.By doing like this,we may make contributions to the resolving of environmental problems.In general,what we do is also beneficial to fulfill the scientific concept on development deeply and build a harmonious socialist society.This paper is divided into five parts: Chapter 1 is the introduction,which interprets the background and significance,researches about environmental education from home and abroad.At the same time,this chapter also includes research ideas,research methods,main issues and innovations of this paper.Chapter 2 is theoretical basis,which mainly includes Bloom’s Taxonomy of Educational Objectives and Anderson’s revised edition.What’s more,in order to offer the theory foreshadowing for the following research,we analyze the contents related to environmental education involved in the curriculum standards of compulsory education based on the revised edition.In Chapter 3,by using the two-dimensional table about educational objectives made by Anderson,taking the textbooks of Jiangsu edition for instance,we analyze that whether the contents about environmental education are conform to the curriculum standards,which we may called the analysis of explanation degree.In Chapter 4,we choose several teaching materials related to environmental education to check whether the teaching objectives which are made according to the curriculum standards are completed in teachers’ class teaching,so that we may analyze the consistency among the curriculum standards,textbooks and class teaching.According to the analysis we have made before,in Chapter 5,we point out the existing problems of today’s environmental education from two aspects: the compiling of textbooks and teachers’ class teaching.Then we make some practical suggestions both on textbooks and teaching,in hope that the students can be interested in the books and understand the meaning better.Maybe in this way can they learn to protect our environment in some more scientific ways.Comparing with former researchers who only study the textbooks or class teaching basing on the curriculum standards,the innovation of this paper is that we study both the textbooks and class teaching.Besides,we find that both the compiling of textbooks and class teaching need to be perfected.We make some practical suggestions from theoretic ways for a better implementation of environmental education,so as to enrich the existing theories.At the same time,we hope that these suggestions may be helpful to the front line teachers.
