The Fourth Plenary Session of the Eighteenth Central Committee of the Party has passed The Decision of the Central Committee of the CPC on Major Issues of Comprehensively Promoting the Rule of Law(hereinafter referred as The Decision)which is of great significance to a socialist country under the rule of law.“The Decision” requires a strong idea on the rule of law by developing the socialist construction on the rule of law;education on the rule of law should be involved into the national educational system,and young people have to be first ones to learn.In order to realize this goal,students in primary and secondary schools have to take law courses,thus awareness of the rule of law can be set up in the whole society.Against the backdrop,improving the law education in high schools is an important way to enhance adolescents' awareness of the rule of law,and to promote the rule of law with all-pronged efforts.However,ineffective education in the rule of law in high schools,at present time,has seriously affected socialist rule of law.Therefore,in order to improve the legal literacy,enhance the awareness of the rule of law of high school students and carry out the decision to promote the rule of law in an all-round way,we must study the effectiveness of the rule of law in high schools.According to effective conditions of the education on the rule of law in high schools and the practical circumstances of it,this paper analyzes the validity of the current education on the rule of law in high schools on four aspects by taking the law education in a high school in Q city of Shandong Province as an example: the first part offers relevant ideas and standards of the effective education on rule of law in high schools,and points out the significance of that education;the second part analyzes the effectiveness of the education on the rule of law in high schools,and explains the subjective factors,content and target factors,factors on methods,and results and its effectiveness;the third part explains the questionnaire on students and teachers in the high school in Q city of Shandong Province,and focuses on the shortcomings of the effective education on the rule of law in high schools in Q city with analysis on the imperfections and causes;the fourth part offers advice on effective education on the rule of law in high schools which are made into an appropriate programs,based on the analysis mentioned before.By the field investigation and theoretical analysis of the effective education on the rule of law in high schools in Q city of Shandong Province,this paper analyzes the problems and causes of it.With the help of schools,teachers and students,adjustment and some other aspects was made on textbooks,educational philosophy and educational mechanism,and solutions are put forward.Hoping this paper can provide theoretical basis for the effective education on the rule of law in high schools,and improve the legal literacy and awareness of law of high school students and contribute to the development of the rule of law.
