With the development of the times,the issue of teacher's professional development has become the focus of attention.For the teachers at the basic level of education,especially the junior high school teachers,if they improve the initiative of professional development,it will play an important supporting role in the realization of the professional value of teachers and improving the quality of education.So it is urgent to improve the professional development of junior high school teachers.Through the questionnaire survey of DaLian C Junior High School teachers'professional development,comparison,statistics on the collected data,this study has found problems of junior high school teachers' professional development existing the following aspects.Generally speaking,obviously,they are lack of initiative of self evaluation;from the comparisons of different titles of the junior high school teachers,it's more prominent that teachers with senior professional title lack of consciousness of professional development;from the comparisons of different working years of junior high school teachers,teachers who work for more than 11 years lack of initiative of professional development more;from comparisons of junior high school teachers of different subjects,the teachers who teach biology,geography,history,politics,PE and music lack of enthusiasm and initiative of professional development.At the same time,combining with individual interviews on the junior high school teachers,I have made a thorough inquiry of reasons for phenomenon from some aspects:teachers themselves,school and society and so on.I' ve also put forward countermeasures of the independent professional development problems:the inner aspects are to strengthen consciousness of independent professional development,to establish correct professional ideals,to reconstruction professional practice ability and to highlight the professional affections of the deep connotation;the external aspects are to create a positive atmosphere of public opinion,to establish a multi polarization of teachers'evaluation mechanism,principal parts and the content.
