Along with the rapid development of high and new technology,a field with information technology as the main characteristics of the era of knowledge economy has come since human society entered the 21st century.Online education relying on the development of Internet technology has become the focus of people's attention to the field of education,and MOOCs as one of the representatives which relies on high-quality teachers,curriculum and the convenience of the Internet technology caused a storm in education,however,the emergence and development of big data brings to the education sector a "turmoil" once again.A surprising number of data hidden behind the huge untapped value,which can help the teaching through the analysis and carding to the data to find the learning rules and patterns of the learner,and creat individualized quality environment and personalized teaching methods.This paper is based on the application of big data in MOOCs and the theories of connectivism and lifelong education,explores the impact of MOOCs on the development of lifelong education in the era of big data.This paper adopts literature research method and literature analysis software "CiteSpace ?'" on "MOOCs" and the lifelong education of the status quo at home and abroad,then it analyzes the history of the development of MOOCs,the main features,as well as the new stage of the development of MOOCs in the era of big data.Through the study found that MOOCs education under the age of big data has a profound impact on the development of lifelong education,main manifestations are:MOOCs education brings opportunities in the era of big data in the reducing the cost of lifelong education,the realization of educational equity and other aspects of the development of lifelong education,and it also presents challenges in the learner's information data protection and the problems of "digital divide"and elevated requirement of the MOOCs technology.Through the above analysis of the influence of enlightenment,we should make full use of the opportunity of "MOOCs" development in the era of big data,set up the concept of open lifelong education,upgrade the "MOOCs"civilian platform to narrow the"digital divide",create a good environment for the development of lifelong education,construct the new model of the development of lifelong education,promote the development of lifelong education.
