Reading as an important part of human life is an important way to translate words into their own knowledge,and is an important skill in the survival and growth of modern civilized society.Primary school stage is an important period for developing reading ability and cultivating good reading habits.However,poor reading performance not only affects students' academic development,but also has a great impact on their cognition,emotion,self-concept and social development.Therefore,it is of great research value and practical significance to pay attention to the problem of poor reading achievement of primary school students,to explore the influencing factors of poor reading performance and to seek practical educational suggestions.In order to change the status of students' poor reading performance,this paper is based on the research on the poor reading performance at home and abroad,and uses the observation method,the interview method and the text analysis method to study the students with poor reading achievement.The author chooses two students with poor reading performance as the object of study,first of all,the typical performance of the students with poor reading performance.Secondly,based on the further analysis of the case students,the author explores the causes of the poor performance of students from three aspects of family,teachers and students themselves.Finally,based on the analysis of the causes of poor students' reading performance,Aspects of educational advice.Parents: give the child appropriate counseling and supervision;the establishment of a harmonious family relationships;create a good family reading environment.Teachers: respect for the differences in reading levels,to promote the development of each student;change the concept of poor students,the establishment of positive expectations.Students themselves: to develop reading interest,enhance reading self-confidence;master reading methods,improve learning efficiency.It is hoped that this study will provide an opportunity for parents and teachers to read poor students,so as to work together to change the status of students' poor reading performance.
