Good mathematical instructional design can improve the scientific and effectiveness of mathematical teaching.At present,although instructional design has attracted the attention of the instructional theory experts and.front-line teachers,and it has made many achievements,but the development of the theories can't match with the instructional design abilities of teachers.When primary school mathematics teachers make instructional design,there are many misunderstandings in the instructional objectives,instructional process and instructional evaluation,which seriously affect the effectiveness of mathematical teaching.The famous American contemporary teaching theory and technology expert David Merrill first proposed thefirst principles of instruction in 2001(also known as 5 stars instruction),mainly discuss how teaching can promote the learning effectively.The first principles of instruction focus on problem-centered,including the activation of the previous experience,the demonstration of the new knowledge,the application of new knowledge and the integration of the new knowledge,which master circulating ring of the instruction.This study applies the first principles of instruction to the design of primary school mathematical instruction design,one of the purpose is to improve the instruction design abilities of mathematics teachers,and the other is to improve the effectiveness of mathematical teaching in primary schools.The.research mainly adopts the literature research method,investigation method and observation method.Through the method of literature research,I expounds the connotation of the first principle of instruction and demonstrate five principles,fifteen corollaries of the first principle of instruction in detail.According to the characteristics of the first principles of instruction,I make the basic framework of primary school mathematical instruction design.Meanwhile I select the fifth grade 2 "round" of compulsory textbook of Jiangsu edition to make unit instruction design and then to carry out.The main processes of instruction design include analysing teaching content from the textbook and curriculum standard,preliminary test followed by the related knowledge to students,making instruction design of circle from the teaching objectives,teaching process and teaching evaluation in the basis of the first principle of instruction.According to the results of the implementation,the first principles of instruction can deepen students' understanding of knowledge,develop mathematical thinking,cultivate the ability of solving problem,and students have a high degree of satisfaction in classroom.At the same time,I make reflections on the deficiencies of the first principles of instruction and put forward some suggestions for improvement.
