Cultivating rational,positive and responsible citizens is the consensus of modern society, training citizens to start from the children. At present, the civic education of primary school students began to be paid more and more attention. Participation in public welfare activities is an important practice form of civic education for primary school students. How to cultivate their civic awareness, public spirit, promote their citizens' participation and public communication, and make them grow into qualified citizens with modern citizenship by studying public welfare activities which are in line with the characteristics of the age of primary school students.This study chooses the Dabie Mountain public welfare activities as the object of the case study,tries to show the process of activity, analyzes the positive and negative factors of the activity,shows the feelings and thoughts of the action subject, puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to the problem, explores the civic students through the participation in public welfare activities a viable path to citizenship.The Dabie Mountain public welfare activities can be divided into three stages.They are the preparatory stage of the activities,the development of the activities and the students' final reflection of the activities.Participants in the activities had different purposes, and in the process of the activities they have learned more. At the same time, we can get some useful experience from Q Studio Organization of the public welfare activities. Though the Dabie Mountain public welfare activities have promoted parent-child communication, funded poor children in mountain areas and taught children how to make friends,did not discover the public value of the public welfare activities, only stay on the level of traditional charity to help the poor,lack of understanding of modern public welfare, the existence of the public welfare activities lack of civic education awareness,team operations lack of democratic norms and ignoring social justice, public spirit and other issues. On the basis of summing up the experiences and lessons of this activity,this paper gives the countermeasure thinking of cultivating the civic literacy of primary school students based on the public welfare activities from the perspective of civic education. On the one hand, it will promote the democracy and normality of team operation,on the other hand, with the penetration of civic education,those public welfare activities will make primary school students enjoy public happiness and enhance their civic awareness, cultivate public spirits. The original intention of this paper is trying to find ways for our primary school students'civic education through public welfare activities .
