| With the further development of globalization,the traditional sports Taijiquan,undertaking the mission of "China dream",spreads all over the world,telling Chinese stories.At the same time,international sports develops to a new direction,and provides a good opportunity for Taijiquan development.Individual championships,emerged in 2014 World Taijiquan Championships,is an unprecedented formation for Taijiquan sport globalization.World Taijiquan Championships,hosted by the International Wushu Federation,has seen two world-class events,receiving nearly 300 athletes from more than 30 countries.The biennial World Taijiquan Championships includes competition events and performance events,different from the previous Taijiquan competitions.It adopts a new set of international Taijiquan rules enriching and improving the Taijiquan Competitions.This means that it will be further normalized and standardized,in terms of modern Olympic sports rules.Taijiquan,thus,became the first Wusu event of which rules can be made separately.Based on the 2014 and 2016 World Taijiquan Championships,the paper starts with the existing documents on Taijiquan events.Then,the paper studies and analyzes current Taijiquan development under the context of globalization,on terms of sports events,competition rules,and culture dissemination,with help of literature material,video observation,comparison,mathematical statistics,etc.Finally,the paper summarizes shortcomings and problems of Taijiquan globalization,offers the countermeasures,and advises on strategic globalization of Taijiquan.In this paper,World Taijiquan Championships and Taijiquan Globalization are studied together.In hope of helping Taijiquan globalization and the closeness between China and other countries,elaborated and analyzed are Taijiquan,the traditional ethnic sports,and its globalization.In the way of promoting Taijiquan development with justness,fairness and openness,can Taijiquan competitions keeps improving and developing. |
