Research On The Training Mode Of Henan "China Table Tennis Association Puyang Table Tennis Experimental School"

Puyang Table Tennis Experimental School is Located in Puyang City of Henan Province.It is the National Table Tennis Reserve Talent Base of China.This paper analyzed the school development from its beginning to the present time and summarized the school's main practices of table tennis training by the methods of literature consultation,questionnaire,expert interview,field investigation,mathematical statistics and comprehensive analysis.Its advantages can been seen as follows:(1)methods of cultivating table tennis reserved talents could be improved?(2)reformation and innovation of table tennis athletes cultivating system could be advanced.(3)lessens of this training mode can be learnt by other table tennis schools and clubs to upgrade cultivation ability.Conclusions are drawn as below:(1)The integration system of literacy teaching and sports training is the main foundation of the shool's success.This system complies with the tendency of developing athletes with ideological thinking and academic qualities and gives a way out to solve the conflict of sports training and literacy teaching which has troubled the sports field for a long time.(2)The exploitation and innovation in table tennis training is the source of Puyang Table Tennis School's vitality.The �Backhand-centered Technique � �Combination of Attack and Chop with Double Pimples In Rubber � and other techniques have been developed by the school during many years of practice which has made contributions to the table tennis development.(3)Outstanding performance is the source of the school's motivation for development.The school has made several achievements above the provincial level through strict,high-pressure and flexible physical training.(4)The cultivation of reserve talents is the school's major backup.The school aims to cultivate table tennis reserve talents for China and has recruited more than one thousand students from home and abroad.For years,the school has trained so many reserve table tennis athletes,physical teachers and trainers at municipal level,provincial level and national level.Problems existing are as follows:(1)Inadequate visual resources and literacy resources have limited the school's education and expansion of it's influence.(2)The person in charge of the school has high prestige but is advanced in age which has challenged the successors' ability to carry forward the achievements and great attention should be given to this problem.Suggestions are given according to the problems:(1)Increase the school's brand publicity to enlarge it's influence based on the specific literacy teaching and sports training integration system.(2)Strengthen the cultivation of reserve teachers and trainers to build up a structured teaching team and management team.(3)More support from local authorities and social communities are called for helping the school through difficulties.
