Officially promulgated and implemented in 2001 in our country compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard, the content of the teaching goal, idea, etc for mathematics teaching put forward specific requirements, each region also according to the curriculum standard textbook writing, in order to promote the improvement of mathematics teaching quality and development has made important contributions. But the progress and development of The Times, at any time in our country based on the 2001 version of the course standard on the modification and perfection of large area, formulated in 2011 promulgated the "full-time compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards (2011 edition)", its teaching target, ideas and requirements for the important changes, major versions of the textbook also because of the material was revised and rewritten.Based of the old and the new teaching material with the original teaching materials in various aspects of the obvious different requirement, also put forward higher request to teacher's teaching. Based on this, the author has put forward the new textbooks for junior middle school mathematics the Scotsman version of comparative study with the experiment,in the heart of the specific studies of this paper mainly discusses the two versions of the teaching goal of the teaching materials, teaching structure, teaching contents, teaching content display and textbook exercises and examples, a comparative study. In this paper, by using literature analysis, comparative analysis and case analysis, the research methods of the two versions of the teaching material the content of the above five aspects research, in terms of the change of teaching materials and use several conclusions:first, for the change of the teaching materials mainly include five aspects: one is the new teaching material teaching goal more detailed, more attention and respect students;Second, new teaching material in experimental teaching materials based on structure of subtle adjustment; Three are the two versions teaching content is roughly same, new teaching material added some new teaching content; Four is the new teaching material of teaching content display various close to students and more life; Five is the new teaching material of sample material to pay more attention to life and social issues, types of problem sets more rich, the difficulty is increased;Second,there are two main Suggestions for the use of the teaching material: one is to change teaching ideas and rebuilding teaching approach; The second is to teaching materials for secondary development and research.
