| Chinese teaching is always the priority of the basic education. Chinese new curriculum standards have indicated definitely that Chinese is the most important communication tool and a significant part of human culture. The unity of instrumentality and humanity is the basic feature of Chinese. Therefore, in Chinese teaching, we need to use teaching materials which are full of literary grace, to cultivate students’reading ability,to enrich their basic ’knowledge,and to help them understand humanistic connotation including thoughts and feelings. However, works from female writers are far fewer than works from males in middle school Chinese textbooks, which goes against the notion of humanity in Chinese teaching. In modern society, works from female writers reach high level both in quantity and quality so that it is necessary to increase female writers’ works into teaching materials. This paper, according to time background and specific environment, aims to analyze reasons why female writers’ works are few, artistic value and Chinese educational value of them and to do feasibility analysis of increasing female writers’works into teaching materials by counting objective statistics of percentage, time, theme and style of female writers’ works in various versions of teaching materials. In the end,this paper will recommend some female writes’ works on this basis. |
