Innovative Research On Ideological And Political Education Of National Defense Students

The Communist Party of China and the Chinese People's Liberation Army have always attached importance to ideological and political education.Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as its core has more specifically proposed that "We must play the role of political work on the lifeline of strengthening and promoting the army" from "the spirit of New Gutian Conference" and “We must persist in taking high moral values establishment and people cultivation as a central link and implement ideological and political work throughout the entire process of education and teaching” as the spirit of the college ideological and political conference in the new era.Relying on the national education system,the system of national defense student for training military officers in colleges and universities determines that the national defense student has dual status of student and servicemen.This special status requires that the ideological and political education of this group is not only to vigorously foster and promote the socialist core values,it is also necessary to apply "the spirit of New Gutian Conference" and " the spirit of the college conference in the new era." What is more important is to promote the national defense students to establish a sense of mission,responsibility,politics,and the overall situation in the task of reforming and strengthening the army.In the past 20 years of training for national defense students,it has achieved notable results in cultivating the family-country collective consciousness and the sense of responsibility,obedience,and serve consciousness of national defense students,however,compared to growth cadre students of completely militarized management,who have admission for military academy once they enter military schools.The national defense students,need to be further cultivated and strengthened in the sense of learning awareness,hardship awareness,and awareness of dedication and mission.With my status as a full-timecounselor of national defense students,I used the theoretical knowledge of the major of ideological and political education with my own work experience to analyze the reason of above-mentioned problems from the four aspects of "subject,object,mediator,and ring".I put forward the point of view that we can complete the creative thinking and exploration of national defense students' ideological and political education by following the six education principles of "political,practical,targeted,people-oriented,motivating,and demonstrative" and relying on the nine specific contents of the three levels of "excellent traditional education,full development of values education,and job requirement education" and 10 specific methods of "conventional" and "special" in education.
