As an important source of national defense military personnel, is indispensable force to the modernization construction of the armed force. They have different responsibility and obligation with ordinary college students, their personal ability and comprehensive quality directly afifects the development of China's national defense and military. As an armed group carrying out political tasks for the Communist Party of China, military ideological and political quality is always an important aspect of the comprehensive quality of military personnel.In this paper, both theoretical research and empirical research are fully applied. This paper tries to seek in a true reflection of national defense students' ideological and political quality of based on, deeply explore the existing problems and causes of problems, put forward to strengthen national defense Countermeasures of Ideological and political education of the students, so that the national defense students in political ideas, values, sense of discipline, psychological quality and national defense and military consciousness more in line with the requirements of qualified personnel in the army.First of all, this paper systematically explains the concept of national defense students'Ideological and political education and the theoretical basis of this article through the literature review, so that the research content of this article is more abundant and specific. Finally, analyzing the unique mode of ideological and political education of national defense students in Harbin Engineering University,based on the reference of relevant training experience in, try to construct the universal of national defense students' Ideological and political education system.
