| With the development of the information age,online course has become one of the important ways to realize online education.Online learning content is an important part of online courses,especially for distance learning,The interaction between learners and learning content affects the learners’ learning effect,learning interest,and many other aspects.In spite of the modern teaching idea,providing learners with a rich and diverse online learning content is being advocated,the design of many online learning content lack of consideration to personality characteristics of learners,so that the current online learning content remains rigid,single issue,and most of the online courses are still unable to effectively implement based on the personality characteristics of students to provide flexible and diverse online learning content,leading to the lack of learning interest,low learning initiative,poor learning effect and a series of problems,and the related research in this area is less and still not mature enough.The difference of learning style is the basic performance of students’ personality in learning,which is more stable and lasting.This study has an important theoretical and practical significance to explore the effective way to realize the online learning content according to the learner’s characteristics from the perspective of learning style.This study explores the framework and principle of the online learning content design from the perspective of learning style,accordingly considering learning content characteristics,platforms’ characteristics and realistic conditions,selects Moodle platform to carry on the design and development of online learning content of open source teaching platform course which is applied in the practical teaching of undergraduates majoring in Educational Technology afterwards.Its main purpose is to provide students with online learning content conforms to the students’ learning style,to enhance students’ satisfaction with online learning content,promote students to learn and improve their learning effect.This study is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.This part mainly introduces the background of this research,and combs the domestic and foreign related research situation,and expounds the purpose and significance of this study.The second chapter puts forward the framework and principles of online learning content design from the perspective of learning style.First of all,this study through in-depth interpretation of the Felder-Silverman learning style theory,put forward the design of online learning content from the four dimensions of the learning style theory;Secondly,this study explores the specific design principles of online learning content design,from the four dimensions of perceived information,input information,understanding of information,processing information,for the learners of the 8 learning styles.The third chapter is the design and development phase.Based on the framework and principles mentioned in the previous chapter,this part introduces the various stages and links of online learning content design and development in the course of open source teaching platform in detail.In the preparation stage,detailed teaching analysis is carried out from the aspects of teaching objectives,learner characteristics,online learning content and online learning environment,which plays a foundation and a key role in further research.The implementation stage expatiates on all aspects of online learning content based on Moodle platform,which is the focus of this part.The evaluation stage summarizes the evaluation and improvement of online learning content.The fourth chapter is the application phase.This part introduces the application of open source teaching platform in the teaching of undergraduates majoring in Educational Technology,and after the application data is collected.The data of the students ’overall learning situation,the satisfaction degree of the online learning content and the students’ learning effect are analyzed by means of the data processing tools,which are based on the statistical data of the platform,the survey data and the interview data.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and prospect.This part summarizes the main conclusions of this study,and reflects the shortcomings of this study,on the basis of this,combined with the author’s personal experience and student feedback,makes some suggestions on the design of online learning content.This study puts forward the framework and principles of online learning content design with certain scientificity,validity and practicability from the perspective of learning style.It has innovativeness.The full set of online learning content designed and developed in this study has a significant effect in improving students’ satisfaction with the online learning content of the course,giving students more autonomy in learning content,promoting their learning and improving their learning outcomes. |
