A new round of basic education curriculum reform focus on teaching process and interaction between teachers and students.Therefore,how to improve the traditional teaching process and how to design classroom teaching link that is good for interacti-on between teachers and students,get attention more and more widely.The study of classroom interaction between teachers and students is of great importance in theory and practice.This article is aimed at discovering problems and solving problems through the investigation of the English classroom interaction between teachers and students in junior middle school,offering ideas to improve the condition of classroom interaction between teachers and students and putting forward some corresponding suggestions and countermeasures.This thesis is mainly included of the following six aspects.The first chapter is the introduction.The first is the reason of selecting this topic.The reason is based on two aspects:The times demand of basic education curriculum reform and the personal interests and the employment direction.The second is the goal and the research significance of this study.Relating to research objectives,this research aims to find the current problems that exist in the junior middle school English classroom interaction between teachers and students and put forward targeted suggestions and improve the present situation of the English classroom interaction between teachers and students in junior middle school.Once more,this article summarizes the literature of classroom interaction between teachers and students at home and abroad.Summary is divided into the domestic present situation and foreign present situation,mainly including the characteristics,nature,types of the classroom interaction between teachers and students and so on.Finally,this part points out the innovations and shortcomings of this study.The second chapter is the core concept definition and research of theoretical basis.First of all,this research clarifies the definition of the core concepts such as ’classroom’,’interactive’,’classroom interaction’,’classroom interaction between teachers and students’ and so on.Second,this study clarifies the theoretical basis,mainly including the symbolic interaction theory,constructivism teaching theory,humanistic thoughts,Dewey’s theory of life education,teaching methodology and the theory of multiple intelligence.The third chapter is the research design.It includes the research ideas and research methods.The research method of this paper is mainly included of literature method,questionnaire survey method,observation method and interview method.To ensure the authenticity and comprehensiveness of the results of the survey,the questionnaires include teacher questionnaire and student questionnaire.This study mainly adopts the improved Flanders interaction scale to count and analyze verbal behavior of teachers and students.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the current situation.This part mainly points out the current problems in English classroom interaction between teachers and students in junior middle school.The statistical results show that teachers do not pay special attention to the family conditions of students,most students expect to interact with teachers.Teachers lack the ’student-based’ interaction;It’s difficult to guarantee interactive fairness.Interactive content is single.Students’ participation enthusiasm is not high.There are mainly passive responses in today classroom interaction.Students lack the spirit of querying and criticizing.The fifth chapter is suggestions that is based on the current problems existing in the classroom interaction between teachers and students.The suggestions are mainly stated from the perspective of both teachers and students.Suggestions include:Training teachers ’ student-based interaction concept;Integrating emotion into interaction;Combining interaction content with daily life;Building a bridge of communication between teachers and students and so on.I hope these suggestions can improve the present situation of English classroom interaction between teachers and students in junior middle school.
