The Junior High School Scratch Teaching Design And Practice Research Based On The 4P Principle

Scratch is a programming language which is made to foster students' creative thinking.As an introduction to programming,it has plenty of advantages such as easy-to-use,visual effect,and rich project types.Scratch is popular in China,there are a lot of researches on Scratch teaching.Among them,professor Mitchel Resnick and his research team "lifelong kindergarten" put forward the 4P principles: project,peers,passion,play.At present,the 4P principles have successfully guided the design of Scratch and Scratch online community,which formed many meaningful and successful learning cases.The 4P principle can successfully guide the online teaching of Scratch,is it possible to guide the Scratch offline teaching? How to carry out Scratch teaching design and practice in middle school classroom with 4P principles?In general,this study adopts the action research method.First of all,through gathering about the research status of Scratch in domestic and foreign countries,this paper has classified and summarized the research direction of Scratch.From literature research and case analysis,find the application strategy of 4p principles,extend the rich connotation of four elements and build the teaching model of Scratch environment 4p principles.Then,the teaching model is applied to the teaching design.In order to carry out detailed analysis of teaching objects,designed questionnaires and interviewed teacher to understand the teaching status.Finally,the Scratch teaching practice with 4P principles.Carried out the three stages,each stage evaluation will be done through classroom observation and analysis of student projects.After that,find solutions and do better in the next stage.A lot of data from students' works,questionnaires,and students' classroom performance show that 4p principles are suitable for junior high school class,which can help promote students' enthusiasm for programming learning and enrich the design of Scratch teaching.
