STEAM courses and maker education form an upsurge of innovative education inside and outside the campus.They emphasize the cultivation of students' innovative abilities and problem-solving abilities.In this context,the learning of Scratch programming is increasingly favored and loved by primary and secondary schools throughout the country.Programming learning helps students to learn independently,collaborate on inquiry,analyze and solve problems,and also cultivates students' logical thinking and computational thinking.However,in the current Scratch education,only the students are provided with opportunities.The teaching methods for cultivating students to solve problems are not detailed enough.Students' innovation consciousness is difficult to cultivate and improve.It is also difficult to find in current education research.Appropriate thinking methods and tools.Design thinking originates from innovative thinking methods in the field of creating customers.It has mature ideas,methods and tools in cultivating students' creative abilities.It can provide support tools for students' thinking process and help students acquire the cognitive path of thinking activities.Students' awareness of innovation and ability to solve problems are cultivated with "expectations".The author uses "Design Thinking" as a concept and tool,analyzes its theoretical basis,summarizes previous experience and practice,integrates design thinking into elementary school Scratch programming,constructs a design thinking model,and analyzes cognitive characteristics and programming knowledge of experimental subjects.,Design and practice of programming teaching.The author takes the “maze game” as the content and conducts group learning.The students experience the definition,discovery,summary,prototyping,test feedback,model re-creation of the design thinking process during the learning,and the thinking becomes a reality step by step.Experiments show that students experience independent thinking and teamwork in role-playing,brainstorming and other activities,learn to analyze,express and summarize,the ability to solve problems has been improved,and students' sense of innovation has been improved.Design thinking for students in the process of programming can greatly mobilize the initiative and enthusiasm of students,and provide effective tools and methodologies to stimulate students' awareness of innovation and solve problems.The author believes that design thinking requires a long-term cycle of training to form a student's study habits,which will have a great impact on student learning.
