Novel teaching has always been an important part of Chinese teaching.The traditional teaching mode of a novel which combined "three elements" and "theme" has formed with longtime practice in the field of novel teaching,the mode has ever played an unusually important role in the traditional novel teaching,but along with the improvement of new curriculum goal as well as the introduction of more and more wonderful modern works,the teaching mode appeared restrictively.Therefore,how to read the novel and how to achieve the goal of the novel teaching is a question that we must reflect on.The modern narrative theory attaches great importance to the artistic form of literary works,and is good at reading the forms of the text and the characteristics of the narrative techniques.Based on the present novel teaching situation,introducing relevant narrative theory is to give teachers and students another interpretation of the novel,let the students really understand the novels from the text itself,through the form of text to understand the work,and not just stay in analysis and combing about the characters,plot and environment.In addition to the introduction,there are 4 chapters in this paper.The second chapter analyzes the current situation of current middle school novel reading teaching.This chapter is divided into two sections,analyzing from the perspectives of classroom teaching and Chinese textbooks,it puts forward the rationality of introducing narrative theory through the presentation of problems.The third chapter discusses the value and enlightenment of narrative theory to the current novel teaching,and emphasizes the necessity of introducing narrative theory in the teaching of the novel.The fourth chapter studies to combine "narrator" and "narrative perspective" and "narrative time" and "time sequence" with concrete novels of the junior school and high school,to promote the multi-level and multi-aspects understanding of students.The fifth chapter discusses the problems that should be paid attention to in introducing the narrative theory into the teaching of novels,such as the introduction of narrative theory should be moderate,the overall design and the overall arrangement should be careful to when integrating the theoretical texts,we should take notice to the combination of traditional novel teaching pattern and narrative writing teaching.The innovation of this paper is to explore the existing problems in the current teaching of novels from the two systems of teaching and textbooks,and introduce the related theories of narrative theory,looking forward to provide some new ideas for the current middle school's novel teaching.
