Novel is a popular style,People are most willing to accept Novel reading in the daily life. At the same timeNovel teaching is an important part in Chinese language teaching, which plays a significant role in transfering themanners of appreciation, improving the level of that, and cultivating the ability of doing particular researches.Zhejiang Province implement the new high school curriculum reform in2006.The book "Foreign NovelAppreciation"has been introduced into the new curriculum reform, Novel teaching of high school systemchange,and transformed the focus onto understanding and discrimination of creating, aethetic and artistic effect oftexts.However, in the moment, there are quiet a lot of teachers who are conditioned by some elements, such astheir own learning and the traditional teaching modes, remaining read concerns on the surface of the textinformation habitually, lacking deep novel reading abilities, which will result in the simplification of teachingstrategies and the reduction of teaching effectiveness. In teaching strategies they take the matter on its merits,single understanding, or do unnecessary expansion in the novel the connotation of the moral realm. From theresult of testing high school students reading ability of novel detection, the effectiveness of class teaching is verylow.According to the teaching present situation, the author conducts the research and the change from the angleof narratology. The western classical narrative is to literature as research theory an inherent law of self-sufficiency,symbol system to one of the relationship between the internal structure of the narrative works of various elementshave a relatively mature theoretical system. After reading the related literatures, the author on the narrative as thebasis, to the narrative angle of view for specific incision, In order to interpret texts effectively from the theoreticallevel, and guide students to improve their reading abilities during the teaching process for research purposes.After a semester of teaching practice and teaching research and teaching staff, through discussion and studentinterviews, obtained the following directions: in the narrative perspective of appreciation of characters, from thenarrative angle of view choice interpretation of the authors, narrative perspective to create novel sense of suspensefor.
