Since2003,Especially after the Binhai New Areabe was included in thenational development strategy and the State Council encourages the Binhai NewArea to try beforehand in the reformation,Urbanization had become into animportant engine that drives the economic and social development of Tianjincity.Financial factors play important role in promoting the development ofurbanizationg.Without the boost financial factors,Urbanization will not advance.Atpresent,Promoting the role of financial development in the town the cityof Tianjin still needs to be improved.Therefore,Study the role ofFinancial development of Tianjin city on urbanization has the important theorysignificance and the practical significance,Because it can promote thefinancial system to give full play to the positive effect in the processof Urbanization.This paper firstly expounds the connotation of urbanization and financialdevelopment and mechanism of financial development promoting the developmentof urbanization.Secondly,Analysis of the process and the current situationof Tianjin city,financial development,The process condition of Tianjincity urbanization,Financial support for urbanization Tianjin city status.Use therelated financial ratios,Financial structure, Financial efficiency as variable ratiosand Urbanization rate as the dependent variable, Analysis of Tianjin city from1993to2012data that influence the development of urbanization by the Unit roottest,Cointegration test and other methods.Empirical results show that:There is acointegration relationships between financial scale,Financial structure,Financialefficiency indicators and Industrialization rate.There is a cointegrationrelationships between Financial structure and Urbanization ratio.Financial scale,Financial structure,Financial efficiency index are the Graingerreason of Industrialization rate.Financial scale,Financial structure is the Graingerreason of the urbanization rate.Finally,According to the empirical results.Putforward to countermeasures and suggestions on how Financial developmentpromote the level of Tianjin Urbanization.
