It is an important requirement for the new urbanization for coordinated "transport, space, industry" development, however in practice the system of urban planning, industrial planning and transportation planning face obstacles in coordination, so it is difficult to form a "transport, space and industry" coordinated development. The above three elements are macro-proposition, so it is a big problem to contain complete information in one study, therefore by selecting representative indexes of the three, may be a simplified analytical method, which both have practical significance but also operability. This paper attempts to analysis the balanced development of economic space, industrial distribution, transport network through quantitative methods, after screening selected per capita GDP, secondary and tertiary industries per capita GDP, road network density index representing the space, industrial and transportation. The ultimate goal of this paper is to define the development characteristics in regional economic conditions, seeking adapted transport development strategy, so as to achieve coordinated development of "transportation, space and industry." In order to clarify characteristics of regional economic development, we first need to understand the basic theory of economic space and industrial distribution; Then giving the Herfindahl- Hirschman index broadly explaining shows its applicability, and apply it to quantitative analysis of development trends of economic space, industrial distribution, transportation network.Case study results indicate that the former two and the latter presents a decidedly opposite trend, according to this important feature, the paper puts forward the corresponding transport development strategy.
