The Research Of Public Scientific Activities Of Botanical Garden Of Science Education In China

Science popularization education has been paid more and more attention with the increasing awareness of modern popularizing science. Botanic garden as the primary base of plant science education plays a decisive role in the popularization education. Plant science is an indispensable important branch of Science popularization education. The development of our country's botanic garden depend on the botanic garden education and popular science education is one of the three main functions of botanic garden. Botanic garden education and communication as an important part of the modern science popularization takes the china botanic garden as the first base. The primary form of botanic garden's education is botanic garden public scientific activities. This paper takes Wuhan botanic garden as an example,studied the development of its public scientific activities.This paper has studied the situation of the public scientific activities in detail,investigated several forms, such as questionnaire and interview, in the scientific activities and quantitative analysis has been carried on. The main problems at present of Wuhan botanic garden has been discussed through comparing with science education course of foreign famous botanic garden Royal Botanic Garden. Therefore, some prospective suggestions have been given. Besides, the construction plan of evaluation system has been proposed in order to promote the effect of botanic garden's public scientific activities and expand the influence of the science education and finally established the brand of Wuhan botanic garden which is unique. It is of great significance for the development of Wuhan botanic garden's science education work to promote the social and economic value of botanic garden's science education activities. Finally, some suggestions for improvement about the science education of botanic garden has been proposed based on the research of Wuhan botanic garden.
