Currently,there are still unqualified project in the construction of municipal road engineering,and safety accidents caused b y the municipal road engineering quality problems occured occasionally, so the quality problem is still grim。According to experts statistics,Less than 20% of construction enterprise qualification rate reached 95% for the first time,that is to say,80% of the construction enterprises need to rework because of quality problems.Municipal road engineering has its own characteristics that include short in time limit, complex underground pipelines or pipelines underground or on ground, scientific design for underground passage and pedestrian bridge,synchronous construction of public facilities, transportation facilities and roads. All these make it more challenging for municipal road construction. Therefore, it is of great importance to consolidate quality of road construction management during the process of road construction.The thesis aims to focus on countermeasures to improve quality management in road construction, by combining dory and construction practice, comparing different methods of quality management and analyzing functions of government in supervision.To specify research topic, the thesis takes project on The Road Construction in Guangzhou as an example. In the first part, it introduces definitions of quality and quality control, stages of quality control and notions in quality control. In the second part, it describes characteristics, principles and basic theories of municipal road construction. In the third part, it discusses quality control of municipal road construction and its influencing factors,by analyzing underlying problems in construction and quality control reality in Guangzhou. In the fourth part, difficulties in quality management in municipal are explored to analyze underlying reasons from perspectives of government supervision and social management. Case of The Road Construction in Guangzhou is fully discussed like its basic information,main technological standards and design highlights, which emphasizes its specific biding measures in quality control.All these are playing an important part in guaranteeing and improving quality control.Finally, conclusions are drawn to emphasize essential role of government in quality control, which has implications for municipal road construction.
