Research On Sichuan Natural Gas Industry Competitiveness Based On Value Chain Model

As a high-quality,reliable and clean energy,natural gas gets more and more attention with the rapid development of globalization.These years,natural gas industry has already become into the pillar of energy industry in the world,which has profound effect on promoting the environmental improvement and the sustainable of national economy. Since "Twelfth five-year", the development of gas industry has been put to the strategic height by our country. As one of the important regions of natural gas production,Sichuan province has rich natural gas resources,which brings the huge upside potential.Through the comprehensive and systematic analysis of current competitive situation about natural gas industry of Sichuan,it has important practical significance for Sichuan to achieve success in market.Therefore,based on the perspective of value chain,this article do research on the competitiveness of each value link of Sichuan natural gas industry,in order to enhance the overall competitiveness level of Sichuan natural gas industry and promote the rapid growth of social economy of Sichuan.Firstly,based on the related research of industrial competitiveness,value chain and industry chain,combined with the features of natural gas industry,this article builds up "double chain" fusion model of natural gas industry competitiveness and forms the value chain model of natural gas industry through in-depth analysis of the difference and link between the value chain and industry chain of natural gas industry. Secondly,this paper analyzes the competitive situation of Sichuan natural gas industry of each value part in the upstream,medium-stream and downstream of natural gas industrial chain.Thirdly, the external and internal factors that influence the competitiveness of Sichuan natural gas industry are analyzed according to the whole situation of Sichuan natural gas industry.After that,according to the design principles and gist of index system,combined with the influence factors,which are the basis on selecting indexes reasonably, the evaluation index system of competitiveness of Sichuan natural gas industry is set up.Then,using the coefficient of variation method to determine the weight of indexes,and using the grey correlation method to evaluate the competitiveness of natural gas industry of Sichuan,Xinjiang,Shanxi,Qinghai,Shanxi and Jilin.In the meanwhile,based on the size of grey correlation degree,the level competitiveness of each province are ranked.Then,the advantages and disadvantages of competition of Sichuan natural gas industry are work out through analyzing the evaluation result.In the end,recomendations are offered on segments of exploratory development,processing,construction of storage and pipe network,marketing,auxiliary link to enhance the overall competitiveness of Sichuan natural gas industry.
