Optimal Procurement Strategies Under The Cournot Competition And Strategic Inventory

In the traditional supply chain management research, it is generally believed the centralized purchasing strategy is better than decentralized procurement strategy. however, according to the data in this thesis, in the actual purchasing decision of enterprise, decentralized procurement strategy choice of purchase way is still the most enterprises.This thesis further proved through research, and the traditional theory is not completely consistent, under certain conditions decentralized decision making may be better than decentralized decision making.This thesis summarizes the respective induction and supply chain management centralized procurement and decentralized procurement often found in the choice of the company making purchasing decisions or centralized decision-making decentralized decision before facing a dilemma, when built based on this model takes into account the existence of a two separate divisions of companies, two sectors respectively upstream suppliers purchase products, then sold to the consumer market, to model product competition between the corporate sector by introducing Cournot model, and finally through two phase induction deduction method given vendor pricing and purchasing departments with strategic inventory decisions.
