Research About Urbanization Of Liaocheng City In Shandong Province

Urbanization refers to the process of the population to urban aggregation, agriculture upgrades to industry and service industry, traditional rural society to modern urban society. Urbanization caused a series of economic and social change. Its essence is the change of economic, social and spatial structure. From the perspective of economic structure, the process of urbanization is the process of agricultural activities gradually to non agriculture transformation and industrial structure upgrading. From the perspective of social structure, urbanization is rural population gradually transformed into urban population and urban culture and way of life and values to rural diffusion process. From the perspective of spatial structure, urbanization is a variety of factors of production and industrial activities into towns and cities.In the third Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC Central Committee, it was put forward that the urban-rural integration system should be made better, and the urbanization will be the next important driving force of economic growth, which will promote industrial upgrading and innovation ability. The Party Central Committee and the State Council issued the 2014- 2020 national planning of new towns, which puts forward new requirements to comprehensively improve the quality of urbanization. The relevant policy about the future of urbanization development were clearly planned and deployed. In the planning report, it was stressed the importance to further promote new urbanization construction, leaded by the development concept of the innovation, coordination, green, open and sharing. The people is the core of the town. Attentions should be paid to four aspects---improving the household population urbanization rate, equalization of basic public services in urban and rural areas, livable environment and historical and cultural heritage, promoting the happiness of people. We aim to promote the sustainable and healthy development of new urbanization in China.Based on the background of urbanization, firstly this paper introduced the theoretical and practical significance. Secondly the related concepts are defined, and the theory and practice of urbanization construction are reviewed, then the framework of this study is summarized. This thesis focus on the urbanization construction of Liaocheng city. According to the investigation data of Liaocheng City Urban construction and development, existing problems were analyzed and summarized; combining with the reality status, the countermeasures and suggestions to promote the urbanization development will be proposed. The content of this paper can be summarized in six parts.The first part, the purpose and significance of this thesis is stated. Through the collation of relevant literature, the status of domestic and foreign research are discussed. At the same time, the research methods and innovative points of this paper are presented.In the second part, starting from the basic concept of urbanization, we will analyze the integration of urban and rural areas, the growth pole theory, the core edge theory and the theory of scientific development, preparing for the follow-up study..In the third part, we will analyze the background and current situation of the urbanization construction in Liaocheng city. We will discuss the statistical of the third industry distribution, analyze the development of the county economy, and public services. We will research about the quality and the connotation of development construction of Liaocheng city, by the contrast rate of urbanization and industrialization, the development of small towns and rural residents insurance.In the fourth part, the problems of urbanization construction in Liaocheng are studied. This part mainly focuses on the foundation of urbanization, urban and rural residents' income, ecological environment and other aspects of Liaocheng city. And then the reasons for the existence of the problems of urbanization in Liaocheng city will be analyzed.In the fifth part, we will study the experience and enlightenment of the construction of urbanization in southern area of Jiangsu Province. We will research about the role of township enterprises in the development of urbanization, how the government co-ordinate urban and rural development; analysis of Southern Jiangsu Industrial Park, intensive agriculture, industry diversification development ideas. So that experience can be obtained for better development of Liaocheng city urbanization.In the sixth part, the countermeasures of promoting the urbanization of Liaocheng city are studied. We will discuss how to promote the development of new urbanization in Liaocheng through upgrading the industrial structure, and other methods.
