The parts logistics is very important in the process of automobile assembly. The auto parts' inbound logistics and logistics at the assembly line area are key points for a logistics system making healthy operation and continuous optimization. To a great extent, the operation performance determines the overall performance of the supply chain system. And an efficient parts supply can significantly shorten the manufacturing period, reduce costs and improve the response ability of products to the market and the flexibility of manufacturing process.This paper uses an automobile logistics enterprise as the background. Starting from the basic theory of logistics distribution system, a balance optimization solution of auto parts logistics has been proposed with simulation experiment analysis and mathematical modeling method.As for inbound logistics, this paper proposed part grouping and three different distribution strategies of Kitting, Kanban and Line stocking, and designed several experiment schemes according to the generality parameters in part grouping and time division. And we make simulation experiments with the evaluation indicators of warehouse inventory, the logistics balance of transit warehouse and line area, the vehicle queue length and delivery times, in order to choose the optimal solution to reach the balance of inbound logistics.As for logistics at the assembly line area, this paper established a model of line edge logistics quantity and line edge staff workload. The objective is to balance the line edge logistics quantity and line edge staff workload. An optimal solution of the assembly line area division has been obtained according to transferring multi-objective problem into single-objective problem by TOPSIS with GA, realizing the balance of line edge logistics, and meanwhile balancing the staff workload.Finally, this paper established a simulation model by SIMIO to recover the operation mode of the distribution system. After verifying the model is effective, some simulation experiments on alternative scheme has been made. Analyze the experiment results according to various evaluation indicators and choose the optimal solution. In the meantime, the simulation analysis of the line edge logistics optimization model has been made. And compare the whole optimal solution with the original situation to analyze the optimized result.
