With the environmental protection of the national development policy continues to popular, "energy-saving emission reduction" to the community a lot of industries have had a profound impact. High power, low fuel consumption, low emission, low noise engine has become the mainstream of the engine design. In response to changes in engine performance requirements, pad of new products is more and more high sealing products, more and more complex structure, product technology is becoming more and more difficult. In order to meet the market launch of new products the requirements of speed, the development cycle is also proposed more stringent requirements. In the face of market characteristics, BH sealing pad development process management has been difficult to adapt to the requirements of the market development. Because, in order to further consolidate the market position, improve the seal development process has very important significance for BH company.This thesis mainly explains the background and significance of the topic, the research ideas, the concept of the gasket, the research status and the related theories of the new production and development. Description of BH company's new product development status, analysis of the main problems now exist in the new product development; discussion based on Quality Function Deployment(QFD) sealing pad development process design, including the design ideas and methods, the development process of optimization design resources, conditions and plans, and the new development process prior to the implementation of the work, the main problems, the new development process of specific design. This paper analyzes the possible bottlenecks in the implementation of the development process, and then studies the suggestions on the successful implementation of the guarantee.This thesis is focused on how to combine the characteristics of the current enterprise and the demand of market competition, the management of new product development process of the classical theory into practice, to optimize and improve the new product development in BH company. This paper uses the literature analysis method and interview method, BH analysis of the process of new product development problems, has put forward the actual situation for the BH company, the actual operation of the product development process.
