It lists seven strategic emerging industries in The Decision of the State Council on Accelerating the Cultivation and Development of Strategic Emerging Industries,which taking the development of core basic industries as the main direction,such as semiconductor industry like integrated circuits,new display,high-end software,high-end servers and other core basic industries.This is also a measure being implemented by the country that the transition from China’s manufacturing to China’s intelligent manufacturing,as the main force of new display,OLED flexible display is more capable of showing ability of intelligent manufacturing.Kun Shan Govisionox Optoelectronics Co.,Ltd(GVO)is a high-tech enterprise specializes in R& D,manufacturing,marketing of OLED flexible displays.Under the support of the national strategic system,the domestic OLED display industry is rising rapidly and the competition is fierce.It brings forward a higher request to company capabilities of the new products development.This paper makes an in-depth analysis with the method of value flow analysis and fish bone analysis to the new product development process of GVO under the above background,and have optimized the company’s new product development process by integrating the theory of integrated product development and the theory of quality function expansion into the new product development process according to local condition.Through collecting the company’s existing data of new product development process within three years which contains new product development schedule,new product quality,new product development cost and data collection on client performance,the main points are found after comparing to competitors,a further in-depth analysis is developed to the main points with analysis tools such as the value flow analysis and fish bone analysis,a conclusion has been drawn that the short board of the new product development is the new product development process consist of technological development,that’s why the new product development schedule is double to the industry standard,and because of the needs of customers are not fully decomposed in the process of development and are unable to implement into production,making new products can’t meet the needs of customers.Therefore,the new product development process of the company is rebuilt,and the technological development team has been set by the integrated product development theory,then the technological development process is established to solve the common technical problems of the company’s new products,and the technology for the market demand is developed in advance to shorten the development schedule and the cost of the new product.At the same time,the quality function deployment tool is introduced to ensure the quantitative decomposition of the customer’s needs,and to improve interdepartmental communication efficiency to ensure the new products meet the needs of the target customers and improve the marginal contribution of new products.The problems in the new product development of GVO are similar in other display industries,studying and solving these problems can not only improve the management level of new product development of GVO,but also apply to other enterprise companies.
