Study On Development Strategy Of Beijing Gas Group Co.,Ltd.

In recent years,the dramatic climatic change has accelerated the development of clean energy.To improve environmental conditions,the government has taken various measures to promote structural adjustment of energy.As a worldwide-used clean energy,natural gas has attracted tremendous attention from the public.With the release of policies about energy and environmental protection,the consumption proportion of natural gas will be increased to 10% at the end of "13th Five Year",undoubtedly providing a fast track for the development of natural gas.Under such circumstances,gas companies usher a good opportunity for leap-frog development.Therefore,it is necessary for gas companies to be based on reality and make all-round plans to develop the company from an objective view.Guided by strategic management theory,by means of some methods,this paper analyzes and discusses the development strategy of Beijing Gas Group.Co.Ltd.Firstly,apart from the review of historical development and the business state of company,the paper describes the prospect,mission as well as the goal of the company.Then,by means of PEST Analysis,Porter Five Forces Model as well as SWOT Analysis,the paper investigates the macro-environment,industry environment and the micro-environment of Beijing Gas Group Co.,Ltd.,discovering the opportunities and threats from external environment,as well as its own strengths and weakness.Based on these,with the consideration of deepening domestic business and developing offshore business,this paper not only puts forward suggestions for the planning and promotion of upstream,midstream and downstream gas,but also provides suggestions for supporting activities,including talent training,financing mode and organization control,etc.Lastly,the paper puts forward the view that Beijing Gas Group Co.,Ltd.should place the strategic focus on market expansion during "13th Five Year",with the strategy of consolidating Beijing area,affecting Tianjin and Hebei districts,going national and opening overseas market,so as to realize the goal of internationalization and the goal of developing "whole industrial chain".
