After the reforms,a large number of foreign enterprises had been attracted to invest in China because of the favorable investment policies and the huge market.They took advantage of their advanced technology,the favorable policy provided by the government of China and cheaper labor cost to flourish,but also promoted the development of China market economy,promoted the rapid development in technology.In the past 30 years,the foreign enterprises promoted the development of export business,as one important part of China's economy.But in the 21 st century,with the development of Chinese private enterprises,the great changes have taken place in the market environment in China.The foreign enterprises are facing the tremendous changes in how to maintain a rapid speed of development in China market.In this paper,a dispenser foreign manufacture(G Co.China)is taken as an example.The paper discusses and summarizes the reasons and the theoretical basis of foreign manufacturing enterprises investing in China,what the problems are and the industry environment in the development process,and then analyses model G Co.'s strategy through SWOT and internal and external constraints through theory of competitive advantage.Finally,the paper provides some suggestions to G Co.as how to continue make further development in China,so that other foreign enterprises can draw a lesson and continue to develop out of the woods.This paper is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is about the main study described the background,purpose,meaning and thesis ideas,especially the study of dispenser business in China.Also it introduces the study method and logical structure.The second chapter is about the theoretical basis.It stated the theoretical basis why G company invested in China and arranged the business: factor proportion trade theory,intra-industry trade theory,international product life cycle theory and the eclectic theory of international production.The third chapter states the history of Chinses dispenser and basic information: high barriers to entry;dispenser brand is numerous and the market competition is intense;bargaining power of dispenser manufacturer is low so that their profit space is getting narrow.And states the basic information of G company and facing problems.The forth chapter analyzes the strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats of G company through SWOT mode and the internal & external influencing factor through the theory of competitive advantage.The fifth chapter gives some suggestions to G company development strategy that make full use of the advantage of international R&D team;pay more attention to the market,focus on the customer and listen to the needs of customers;formulate the Chinese market product development process;improve the organizational structure and the operational efficiency of the company;product differentiation strategy.The sixth chapter is the final about for the conclusion.
