Analysis On The Structure Of China's Export Trade And Its Comparative Advantage

Since 1980,China has always put the development of foreign trade as a key factor in stimulating the economy and support of economic growth.Reform and opening-up,especially since joining the WTO,China actively participate in the international division of labor and economic cooperation.With the help of international industrial transfer,relying on our comparative advantages,China formed the basis of the labor-intensive manufacturing.Therefore,significant progress having been made,China has ranked first in the export trade in the world.As the first world trade country,China is big but not strong.Chinese export trade is still labor-intensive products without high technology.And capital and technology-intensive products is in a weak position in the international competition on the market.With the constant progress of economy,the demand of labor-intensive products is getting smaller and smaller.As labor-intensive products has small demand elasticity,and low added value,and the lack of international competitiveness,it limits economic growth when the economy reaches a certain size.At the same time,with economic growth of China,the increase of the price level,the China advantage of labor cost is gradually lost,and the difficult situation of technical disadvantage grows gradually.In this paper,by means of sorting to the 1995-2014 annual trade data,from the perspective of trade types,methods,and the structure,it objectively analysis of the structure of China's export trade,and presents the existing problems,and presents countermeasures and suggestions.Research on China's export trade structure,there is help to pay attention to the effect of China's export trade in China's economic development and the existing problems and promote China's export trade structure transformation,which has important theoretical and practical significance to China's economic growth.
